Waninkoko Releases “Firmware Updater v4.2″
Waninkoko, who recently said he was saying “Goodbye Wii“, has released “Firmware Updater v4.2 to update your Wii’s System Menu to v4.2 safely.”
Recommended updating steps (it’s how I updated)…
Prerequisites: You must have IOS30 v1040. If you don’t, use Dop-IOS to downgrade it, before proceeding.
- Download and install the HackMii Installer v0.5 (you will need to do this even if you already have an older version installed).
- Download and run Waninkoko’s Firmware Updater v4.2.
- Download and run Dop-IOS.
- Using Dop-IOS, downgrade IOS30 to v1040 (fixes “no vulnerable IOS’s found” error, if you need to run the HackMii Installer again).
- Using Dop-IOS, reinstall the latest IOS61 without the sig-hash fix (fixes the upside-down Homebrew Channel).

Comex geliştirdiği Bannerbomb ‘un yeni sürümü sadece Wii System Menu 4.2 ile uyumlu olarak yayımladı. Kullanıcıların test edip sonuçları ve yaşadıkları tecrübeleri BannerBomb web sitesine rapor olarak yollamalarını istedi.
TALİMATLAR
============
1) Bir SD kart al. Eğer içinde daha önceden oluşturulmuş “private” klasörü varsa bunu “privateold” şeklinde ismini değiştirin.
2) “abd6a_v200.zip” dosyasını indirin ve SD kart üzerine açın.
HackMii installer indirin. SD kart köküne, installer.elf dosyasını kopyalayın ve boot.elf olarak yeniden adlandırın.
3) SD (menüde) için SD kart simgesine basın. Bu menü (4.x) son sürümlerde vardır. Sonra SD kartı takın. Ekrana boot.dol/Elf yükleme şekilnde bir pop up gelecek veya sistm donma yaparak kitlenecektir.
4) Eğer pop up dialog kutusu geldiyse talimatları izleyin ve sitedeki anketi doldurun. Eğer bazı problemlerle karşılaşırsanız diğer versiyonlarla denemeden sitedeki anket bilgilerini okuyunuz.
5) Dialog kutusu gelmeyip donma yaparsa başka bir versiyon deneyiniz.

INSTRUCTIONS

1) Get a SD card. If it has a private directory, rename it temporarily, e.g. to “privateold”. Having other saved channels on the same card will screw it up.
2) Download abd6a_v200.zip and unzip it onto the SD card.
Go download the HackMii installer. Copy installer.elf to the root of the SD card, and rename it to boot.elf.
3) Press the SD card icon (for the SD menu). This is different from the last version. Then insert the card. It should either pop up Load boot.dol/elf? or freeze.
4) If it pops up a dialog, then fill out the survey.
If you encounter any problems from then on, don’t try other versions (it won’t help), but see the information below the survey.
6) If it freezes before popping up the dialog, you could try another version.

Öncelikle alt versiyonda olanların 4.2 ye geçmemeleri önerilir 4.2 versiyonunun 4.1 versiyonuna göre hiçbir artısı yok. 4.2 sistem versiyonun ile ilgili son durum aşağıdaki şekilde özetlenmiş durumda. Yeni bir exploit olan Smash Stack veya Indiana Pwns kullanılacak bu iş için. Şuan wii’min internet bağlantısı olmadığı için kendim deneyip ayrıntıyı veremiyorum o yüzden ilgili linkleri veriyorum size. Tecrübe eden arkadaşlar tecrübelerini paylaşırsa sevinirim.
